Masters of the Muff-style pedal universe, Wren and Cuff bring back an extra-special Triangle Knob Muff from 1972 and dubbed it 'The Good One'. Since eighteen different circuit types graced the guts of the original pedals, the sound notoriously differs from model to model. What The Good One does, is recreate the sound of a very specific 1972 edition which found its way onto the Wren and Cuff workbench when it came in for repair. Following extensive testing, the team concluded that they had stumbled across the best-sounding Triangle Knob Muff of all time and got to work, capturing its complex and multicoloured, rich and fuzzy output before wrapping it up in a near-indestructible folded-steel box.

The Good One: Hand-Selected, New Old Stock Parts = Authentic, Period-Correct Sound

To guarantee the same magic sound as the OG, Wren and Cuff has cut no corners, kitting out the high-grade homage that is The Good One with hand-selected transistors, New Old Stock ceramic disc capacitors and authentic, period-correct carbon resistors. From there, everything is dialled in via a familiar set of three controls pots while a true-hard-wired bypass footswitch ensures clean operation. After an extremely limited run of just 50 of these sought-after stompboxes, any discerning tone chaser can finally get their hands on one of their very own.
